Terry, Manson Medal for Team USATF on Day 3 at IAAF World U20 Championships
Lindy Remigino, the 1952 Olympic gold medalist in the 100-meters and the 4x100 relay, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Wednesday, July 12. He was 87. He was surrounded by his family at his home in Newington, CT, at the time of his passing.
Bernard Lagat (Tucson, Arizona) won the USATF 10k Championships while competing in the AJC Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, setting a new benchmark for Masters runners.
